Tonight’s vimeo meet-up was friggin’ spectacular. I danced like a mad woman with the coolest and most attractive user base on the internet. However, I really should have maybe not danced as much as I did because I ended up spraining my thumb (Andrea Allen can pull off a sweet bridge-air-hump, I apparently can not) and my feet were hurting so bad walking home I was nearly in tears.

Ricky gave some great advice about getting your car fixed up if you’re in the city for a few days, but what if you’re only going to be in the city for a day? If you’re coming in from the north, is it smarter to park outside the city and take the subway in? Where is cheap? Where is safe? Help! Thanks in advance!

Today was my first ever SILF softball game. We’re still undefeated* and I got to arm wrestle the guy from the other team. My arm is dead and I got Iowa’s pants dirty (and I still don’t know where a laundromat is around here) but it was lots of fun! I like the people I work with a lot. <3 Video from Streeter’s homerun coming up soon.

Vimeo just broke a major personal record - 1,007,116 videos played in 24 hours.
At it’s peak that’s 17 people hitting play every second. This time last year, we peaked at 190k plays in one day. In January this year, we were at just 220k. After a long hibernation, Vimeo has quadrupled in size in pretty much every dimension in less than six months.
Oh, we also set personal bests for videos...
I am a POKEMON MASTER
I just beat my first ever video game. Pokemon Yellow. My winning line-up was with Mr. Mime, Pikachu, Gyarados, Articuno, Charizard, and Venusaur.
This is kind of a big deal for me, sadly enough.

My first day
My first day at vimeo was amazing. Blake introduced me to everyone (like, *really* introduced me) and gave me a tour around the floor.
